Refinishing Process of a Small Side Table This small side table is going through the lengthy refinishing process. It involves stripping, sanding, sealing, fine sanding, glazing, sealing, more sanding, and a final finish. The table was salvaged from a trip to the recycle center. It had been painted black and was showing the wear of many years as a TV stand. Turns out that the top is mahogany, the front detail is walnut, the shelf below is poplar, and the legs are a combination of various woods. The finished product is now a prized piece of its owner.
